Introductory Learning (IL) STEM is a club I launched at my high school to spark interest in STEM. I helped recruit 105 students for the club, a 69% growth in 1 year. I also created an annual plan & 15+ presentations about various STEM topics. As leader of the club, I was also able to gain leadership skills. Not only do we teach the students certain STEM topics, but we teach them about possible job opportunities that will come from each of the engineering and computer science majors. Almost everything that we do in IL STEM has a competitive aspect to it and our members can win points in order to earn prizes at the end of the year.
