As one of our design projects, I designed and created a toolbox to hold parts for the handheld Shaper Origin CNC. While learning to use the CNC in class and at my internship, I found it fascinating to also experience what a handheld CNC is like. First designed on 2D CAD, I brough my toolbox into 3D and changed the look to be more convenient. I then cut the toolbox out using the CNC machine.
